In my latest video, I talk about foundation repair and house leveling. I explain the process of creating a plan to fix a foundation issue and how the process works by digging holes, placing piers, and using jacks to lift the house to the recommended height. As a recommendation, I suggested getting a structural engineer’s assessment before approaching a foundation company to save money on unnecessary repairs and in this video, i’ll explain why.
Based on my own experience, I shared how using a structural engineer’s report can help recommend fewer piers and save thousands of dollars. I also gave a word of caution that choosing the cheapest contractor for foundation repair may lead to a warranty issue when selling the property. It’s better to invest in a reliable and experienced contractor for the best results. Check out the video to find out why….
