Problortunities [Live]
If you’ve heard it once, or a thousand times, it doesn’t matter, but what does matter is the sooner that you can comprehend that the problems that you have are (almost undoubtedly) your biggest opportunities, you will be wiser and more productive for it.
When you move forward to attack and overcome the biggest obstacles and challenges in your life, these efforts will begin to yield your biggest growth and gains.
Understanding that from a foundation of pain and problems, where some of you currently reside, is a place of opportunity that can literally change the trajectory of your life forever.
It’s not going to be easy.
It’s going to be difficult.
It will feel overwhelming and impossible along the way.
That’s precisely what ‘hard and difficult’ things are supposed to be like.
Why do I share this?
Because it’s true.
Because also I was reflecting on this this morning in my reading this came up for me…big time.
There was a time in my life that I basically hated my life in terms of the job that I had and I was extremely broke to boot.
I couldn’t stand Corporate America or the politics that came along with it.
And I wasn’t making money.
I was in a place where I felt like I had no idea what to do, where to go, where to turn.
I knew nothing about business, I had no money, I had a lot of problems, therefore, a lot of pain.
However, if I hadn’t experienced those challenges, I would not have felt compelled to take the actions that I did to learn about real estate and starting my own business.
Maybe you’re in a place financially where you’re dead-ass broke or just bored or unhappy with your place in life.
This CAN be a good thing.
You can of course choose to stay there OR let this discomfort move you towards action.
I remember a time in my life when I was extremely overweight (40 lbs more than I am now).
That compelled me to make a change.
I remember a time in my life when my marriage was on the brink of divorce.
That compelled me to make a change.
Over and over again….
Your problems are trying to show you the opportunities for you to focus on.
Let’s call them Problortunities.
Yes, I just made up a word.
Feel free to use it.
Try it out.
Start labeling your so-called problems as wonderful Opportunities and see what starts to transform in your mind…and hopefully, you will be compelled to take action.
