What Would You Say?
What Would You Say?
Some of you know that I recently went out to California to attend an event ran by Navy Seals that consists of 50+ hours of non-stop physical activity, challenges, etc. It’s basically a civilian version of the Navy Seals ‘Hell Week’. The event is called, KOKORO.
To give you some insight on the difficulty of this event, there were over 50 people registered, only 28 showed, and only 9 finished.
About a week before going out to the event, one of the guys that was in a small group I was in to share training insights with prior to the event, posted this question:
WHAT WOULD YOU BE MORE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY
IF YOU KNEW IT WOULD BE GONE TOMORROW?
A great question indeed because we never know when we will breathe our last breath.
However, we didn’t realize the true significance of this question until the event was over on sunday.
Almost immediately at the end of the event, Kirk, one of the 9 that completed the entire event, fell ill almost immediately, and soon thereafter lost his life, leaving behind his wife and 2 children.
So now I ask you:
WHAT WOULD YOU BE MORE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY
IF YOU KNEW IT WOULD BE GONE TOMORROW?
Life is short. Live it to the fullest.
RIP Kirk.
In love,
Brant
